For the 2024-2025 School Year

SUMMARY

Supports and serves special education students and families to ensure success in the school setting.  Collaborates with agencies to ensure continuity of services in the home and school setting.  Performs duties that foster academic and social/emotional growth for special education students placed in and out of the school district.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Certification:  Must have a Social Work License or Social Worker Certification.

 

Knowledge and Skills:  Experience and training in working with children and families with social and emotional needs. 

 

Abilities:   Possess an in-depth knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to special education; demonstrates ability to be flexible and dependable in implementing job responsibilities and demonstrates skill in interpersonal relationships.

 

Education and Experience:   Master's Degree in Social Services or related field.  At least 5 years professional experience within the school environment or as a Social Worker.

 

Pay Rate: $56,083 - 90,959.00 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)
