SUMMARY

 

Performs office duties to support the smooth operation and running of the Central Dauphin School District school offices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Knowledge and Skills:  Excellent communication and organizational skills and attention to detail a must.  Sufficient human relations skills to communicate standard information; Possess excellent interpersonal skills;  a knowledge of Microsoft Office in word processing (word), database and spreadsheet programs (Excel) and database applications preferred.

 

Abilities:  Ability to work independently, perform all the duties of the position efficiently and effectively.  Requires the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in order to meet schedules and timelines.  Requires the ability to analyze situations and accurately adopt an effective course of action.  Requires the ability to communicate with the public using courtesy, and in a manner that reflects positively on the department and District. 

 

Education and Experience:  High School diploma required.  Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience preferred.
