SUMMARY

The Assistant Volleyball Coach provides leadership, supervision and organization for the Volleyball Program and is responsible for carrying out the objectives of the entire athletic program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and Skills:  Good interpersonal and organizational skills.  Working knowledge of techniques, rules and regulations, and training theory of the sport. Sufficient relations skill to communicate standard, yet sometimes sensitive information, and to maintain harmony in a work setting.

Abilities:  Requires the ability to independently perform all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively.  Requires the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in order to meet schedules and timelines.  Requires the ability to analyze situations and accurately adopt an effective course of action.  Requires the ability to communicate with various groups using courtesy, and in a manner that reflects positively on the District. Prior related experience is preferred.
