SUMMARY
The role of the teacher is to teach students to read, write, problem solve, compute, how to find information, how to think, how to work co-operatively with others, and to meet all district required curriculum objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have an Elementary K-6 or Mid-Level 4-8 Certification.
Knowledge and Skills:
Must be experienced with leveraging technology within instruction. Knowledge of content and pedagogy skills in planning and preparation, establishing and maintaining a purposeful learning environment. Skill in delivering instruction, engaging students in learning and assessing and evaluating students. Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents and other district employees.
Abilities:
Problem solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment, and analytical abilities.
Hours: 8:35am – 4:05pm
Pay Rate: $56,083.00-$90,959.00 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)
