The teacher is the keystone of any sound education program. Well-equipped classrooms, carefully planned courses of study and effective guidance programs are very important ingredients, but the success of the school is dependent upon the qualifications, enthusiasm and dedication of the instructional staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certification:
Must have a Secondary 7-12 Certification in Science, Social Studies, or Math, Special Education Certification preferred but not required.
Knowledge and Skills:
Assess and evaluate students. Knowledge of general and specific subject matter. Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents and other District employees. Think creatively and solves problems. Skills required include listening, oral and written communications, organization and teaching. Demonstrate talent in the instruction of students with varied styles and levels of mastery.
Pay Rate: $56,083.00 -90,959.00 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)
